ENTRANCF How Curry 1071 Blm mi Curryer ' 81 ' m Was, And Will Be Dedication Patricia O ' Sullivan Patricia O ' Sullivan is the Administrative Assistance of the Behavioral Sciences and Education division. She has been on the staff of Curry for three years. She will be leaving us to live in Ireland with her future husband Patrick Fleming after an October wedding. We all wish them a long and happy life. In Memory Of Over the past year, people who were associated with the college have past away. We wish to remember them for what they meant to us and how they affected our lives. President John Hafer Dr. Hafer served as President of Curry College from 1965 - 1978. More than any single man, he probably did more to improve and advance Curry College. In just five years, Curry received full accreditation. During his time as President, enrollment at Curry more than doubled, the size of the faculty tripled and the number of library volumes quadrupled. Under his leadership, Curry established new programs in several areas, including the PAL center. The North Academic building was renamed in his honor By Steven Algeri Robert Smitty Smith, Jr Smitty was a junior wh o lived in State House. He was liked by everyone on campus. He would help out anyone in anyway that he could. He never had a bad word to say about anybody Smitty died January 11, 1981 from leukemia. Smitty will be missed.
