Senior Class History of 59 We entered high school ten strong. We were duly initiated on October 15, 1955 and we were considered the newest members of the Cougar Pack. Our Sophomore year we initiated 23 new freshmen. Our class had gained Ron Snyder and lost Oliver Monnin, Anne Morris, and Victor Howell. We started off our Junior year with a very successful car wash. We lost Ron Snyder, Ilene Borders and Pat Woods but Victor Howell was back in the Pack. On March 23, 1958, we presented the smash hit play Seventeen Is Awfully Young. Then on May 10, 1958, we decorated the gym in pink and blue to the theme of Arourg T1-le World for our Junior Prom. Our rulers of this dance were Sheryl Massie, Queen and Stanly Crandall, King. The crowners were Victor Howell and Vanette Van Woert. The Crown Bearers were Steve Brown and Faye Lembcke. The music was by The Skylarks. Our Senior year we traveled to Spokane to Christian Studios to have our Senior Pictures taken. Our Senior Ball was held on November 15, 1958. Our theme was Harb-Qr Lights. The gym was decorated in shades of blue, black and white. The music makers were The Skylarks. We have three new members in our class this year. They are Lynne Richmond, Lorna Davison and Maureen Bittner. We lost Art Nylander. With the coming of new students and the leaving of old classmates we now number eight exalted rulers, five of the original ten that started. Q9 :-,fa N f F rm gm - ,Y ,.., M , 1 I 1. Spike: 2 .
