Senior Class Prophecy May 21, 1969 Dear Mr. Chester, On my return to the good old U. S. from Moscow where my husband has been sta- tioned for the past 10 years as Ambassador, I was elected to write you a letter and let you know about our class reunion. We were all very sorry to hear you were convalescing in a mental home for retired Superintendents in Nevada and were unable to attend our gathering. We are all very proud of Vanette Van Woert as she won the title of Home-Maker of the Year and hopes to pass on the honors to all of her six lovely daughters. Lorna Davison has a very exclusive restaurant in Russia and is an undercover agent for the U. S. Government. janet Helphrey has the second largest exporting company for Black Aberdeen Angus Cattle and spends her summers in Tibet. Spike Howell has just bought the Globe Trotters Basketball Team and with the proceeds he is setting up an ice cream concession on Curlew Lake. Wilton Massie has taken over his father's ranch and has purchased all of the land from Curlew to the 49th Parallel. This includes the city of Danville of which Wilton is now the mayor. Maureen Bittner now owns and operates a chain of night clubs in Labrador and spends the winters in her villa at Malo so she can be close to her husband who is Commander of the 638th AC 6: W Squadron at Curlew. Bill Cooper has attended college in Africa for the past ten years and will soon be qualified to take over your old job as superintendent of C. H. S. I have really enjoyed writing to you and bringing back beautiful memories of years at Curlew High. This must be a great pleasure for you, to know all of your hours of teaching were not spent in vain. I must hurry as I just received a telegram that my husband needs my advice on a matter of State and I just have an hour to catch my plane back to Moscow. Sincerely yours , Lynne Richmond
