Ten years ago, the girls who graduated in '53, decided they would all meet ten years later at the school house. This evening, the old brick building is lighted up, waiting for the reunion. Jerry Nichols is the first to arrive, as she still lives at Curlew on the horse ranch she dreamed or owning with her husband, Edwin. While Jerry is c mbing her hair, her best friend walks in. Charlotte Bardwell tells Jerry that she owns a sawmill in Oregon, and teaches in the school that she built for her employee's children. The mill business seems to be good. The two girls hear someone else coming, and look up to see Hilda Melnyk who is now the prison warden at Alcatraz. She always said she wanted to boss a lot or men. The remarkable part, though: Not a man has tried to escape since Hilda's been there. After a while, Ruth Howell and Gaye Faulkner come in. Gaye is married to one oi the sweethearts she had while in high school, and she sings in a nightclub in New York called, nNick's Club 77n. You can also see her on TV on Channel 10, between five and six p.m. Ruth had met Gaye in Spokane when her plane from Hawaii landed. She is the Governor or our h9th state, Hawaii, and is married to a handsome playboy. She says she really enjoys her job as Governor. Last, but not least, Alice Barrick arrives with her husband, from Alaska, where they both are missionaries. They are very happy in their home near Fair- banks with their three children. Then, a quick glance at the clock tells the girls that the day of the reunion is over, so they bid their goodbyes and depart. F1 W?
