C S Spirit Leaders Debbie Roberson Cheadj Chris Mass Ronnie Simon Karen Nunes Julie Chaillaux Varsity Always an important part of school activities, the spirit leaders contributed much time and energy this year to pro- moting enthusiasm. As proof of their efforts, all three squads placed in the Santa Clara County Cheerleading Competition. The Varsity, headed by Debbie Roberson, took first place, the JV's, under Debbie Elkins, placed second, and the Pep Leaders, with Micki Van Dyke as head, took third. Many hours of hard work has proved to be re- warding in our school spirit.

HOW 3, Bill Horan, Les Murphy, Pete Pritchard, Steve Gudelj Russ Danielson, Mike Christian, John Silva, Russ Vasterling, Troy Cald W8 Lettermen With Mr. Christensen as club advisor, Let- termans Club was able to continue the suc- cess as a club for the promotion of the understanding and interest in all sports thoughout CHS. The clubs make-up is of all years and of active participants in school sports, and who has earned a Block in a sport. The club meets once a month and views movies taken by the P.E. Department, and discusses ways to improve on specific sports. Although they do not all watch sports films they some times enjoy entertaining flicks. This year's president was Pete Pritchard.
