Varsity Outstanding in S.C.V.A.L. Pla After a year of hard work and determination, twenty-six football players brought Cupertino High School its most successful football season. The boys worked together as a team, striving for confidence and pride, for with confidence and pride come a winning team. After the first two games, Cupertino opponents wondered what they had been working for. During the next seven weeks, the I967 Football Team established the longest winning streak in Cupertino's history, beating Los Altos and Fremont for the first time, finishing second behind the number one team in Northern California. The coaching staff feels that these twenty-six football players have contributed greatly to the high school and they are to be congratulated. .1 .... TEV

The traditional red carpet was rolled out for Queen Charity Swayze and court. Colorful topiary trees added to the elegance of the occasion. The crowning of Charity Swayze by last year's Senior Princess, Judy Romadka, marked the 7th Annual Home Coming of CHS. The victory over Awalt, scoring 27 to I4, cli- maxed the evening. After the game, the students and alumni danced to the music of the Jaguars. lt was an evening for all to remember. Home Junior Princess Donna Pierceall escorted by Charlie Rush Senior Princess Jan Taylor escorted by ASB President Mike Spratt.
