ew. 1 , +-Q-Q if . . W' W CSS i fd' . vi!! CHSS has this year progressed from the messiest club on campus to one of the hardest working and most widely recognized service clubs on campus. It is the only club to serve at the Parent-Faculty club meetings, the Faculty Breakfast, and the CSF banquet. The project this year for CHSS was to buy Christ- mas trees for the needy families and to make taped recordings for the blind. The club is co-ed, so anyone is able to join. ln order to earn a CHSS pin, one has to earn fifty hours of work, which because of the friendly atmosphere of the club is more fun than anything else. k'Oll' I, ue Bell, Monigue Germain, Julie Chaillaux. Key Club i968 also marked a very successful year for Cuper- tino High School's Key Club, in that their spectacu- lar Homecoming was one of the most successful ever. This year's club again brought the Christmas spirit to CHS with the annual food drive, and once again Santa could be seen romping around the rally court, collecting pennies for the project, which was the largest yet. Key Club's food drive cannot be disputed as being one of the most worthwhile projects that takes place at CHS. This year's presidents were Don Corliss, Ist semester and Bob Klure 2nd semester. fylv gg '-' -V z V I - hr...

Members are selected from all classes on the basis of these three goals. The club's activities are varied and include service for the school and the community. Alruettes sponsors a fashion show for Freshman Grientation Day as a means of introducing the dress code and the activities of Cupertino to the incoming freshman girls. Some other activities on campus include the candy sale, and help with Baccalaureate and Graduation. In the community we find Altruettes working with Our Lady of Fatima and Sunset-Annex rest homes. ln an atmosphere of fun and service the Altru- ettes of Cupertino High School seek to uphold their goals under the able leadership of their advisor, Mrs. Stark.
