Hard-Working Pep Girls Organize CHS Spirit Backing Cupertino's mighty spirit is a group of enthusiastic and dedicated girls. These girls, easily identified in their red blcizers and skirts, are known as the Pep Girls. Before the games these girls and Pep Club members spend many hours decorating and painting posters and run-throughs. At the games they provide white shirts to insure a completely white rooting section. Efforts of the Pep Club have proven very successful under the leadership ofthe Pep Girls. .-X

Precision And Glamour Entertain Crowds 'Vi Cupertino's Golden Spurs, noted for their precision marching and march-dance routines, work with the band to provide half-time entertainment at the football games. Throughout the year the girls enter competi- tion in various parades and usually come up with a first place. Acting as maiorettes are those girls in the bright red sequins-the flag girls. Also marching with the drill team is the color guard. The half-time show is often highlighted by champion twirlers Steve and Laurie Zucchi. They have received many trophies and much praise for their performances at football games and in competition.
