Homecoming is always a big project for Cupertino's Key Club. There are princess candidates to nominate, the half-time ceremony to plan, the dance tickets to sell. The Key Club started another Cu- pertino tradition this year by presenting a trophy to the most valuable player of the homecoming game-Bob Lanclreth. The Christmas food drive was the most successful ever held, over ninety families were supplied with canned and boxed goods. Money collected from students, added to funds raised at homecoming activities, bought turkeys and hams for needy families. Key Clubbers directed the Cupertino Day Parade, helped at graduation, and served at the state-wide Business con- vention. They serve at many school functions, including serving at dinners and making the arbors for graduation. In order to be a member, students must meet certain qualifications, and then current members are usually accepted twice a year.
