Cupertino High's Service Organizations Cupertino High service clubs include All-American Girls, Altruettes, CHSS, lnteract, and Key Club. All of these clubs serve at school functions, and many of them serve the community as well. Every year, Key Club holds a Christmas drive to collect canned goods for needy families in the area. Interact held a Christmas hootenanny, and the proceeds went to help the needy people of this area. The newly organized All-American Girls collected toys during the Christ- mas season, and Altruettes sold fuzzies to accumulate money for scholarships. CHSS serves at many school functions, including serving at dinners and making the arbors for graduation. Many clubs remain active in the community throughout the summer. In order to be a mem- ber of one of these service clubs, students must meet certain qualifications, and then current members vote on the applicants. New members are usually taken twice a year. C.H.S.
