it infill- mt 4 f 141:14-n f s s JUNIORS 'qqfu CLASS HISTORY The Junior Class has undergone numerous changes in its personell. Only eight Grade-School graduates of 1941 are enrolled in the class-at present. They are Delbert Vick, Marvis Hall, Billy Joe George, J. C. Lay, Ima Grace Chapin, Rose Jean Moseley, and Evelyn Goggins. To this number add Faye Marriott, Wanda Lee Eddings, Lovenia Head, Brlly Claud Strick- land, and Audrey Dean Nobles, who enrolled in the freshman year, Fayrene Martin, Mozell Childers, Bobby Ann Hale, Eudene Romans, Vastle Hale, Billy Beardon, and Homer Lane Bramlett, who joined last Csophomorej year. This year Ralph Garner, Elvis Joe Clark, G. R. Romans, Flora Preston, and Mary Evelyn Regan were the newcomers. These mentioned constitute the class at present although several others have enrolled but withdrawn or moved away. In our freshman year our class blossomed into one of the finest in High School. Under the spon- sorship of Mr. Clyde Heflin, we won the Halloween Contest by an overwhelming majority of votes. Among our activities last year were a Christmas Party at Mr. Speed's, a watermelon cutting at Rose Jean Moseley's and a weiner roast. This year we have been successful in raising money for the banquet, enjoyed a classy game tournament, numerous skating parties and sponsored the best chapel progrmu. We also achieved an enviable record when we won the Halloween Contest again this year, a feat we have won twice in three years, running a close second last year. We especially want to thank Mrs. Moseley, Mrs. Weaver, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Manning, and the other ladies of the P. T. A., who have shown quite an interest in our class. L
