You would probably be shocked to know thatg Ellawan Berry, having completed a beauty course, finds herself settled down in a small village in the Mid-west, running her own beauty salon and still waiting for Billy Patton, who has just landed in San Francisco after three years over- seas. Wiloqyean Boardman, the little curly headed brunette that you all well remember is now lovelier than ever. Yesterday when I Stopped in Hollywood for a few hours, I ran into her a Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer studio. Who do you suppose the leading man in her next picture is--none other than the blond, blue eyed Charles Lewis. Strangely enough, Wilodyean didn't recognize me at first because she was combing her hair, but as I approached she blushed naturally and yelled Whellon. Weldon Boswell the Cumby boy with a grin, has just returned to the U. S. after twenty-five suc- cessful bombing raids over Tokyo. He is still very fond of the girls, but hasn't decided on the None girl' yet. Gerald Carpenter who was at one time AdM's champion basket ball player, has taken oath of of- fice today as President of the U. S. after bitterly defeating Franklin D. Roosevelt. Gayle Clemons has just moved into the former office of Dr. Ben Green who has retired after many years of active service. Robert Elsbury has just received a two dollar raise. He is now head soda jerker in Summer's drug store. .Its a mystery to ' ow he supports his wife, the former Fayrene irtin and their four children. -

It is predicted by his colleagues that he will some day be a great success if he ever gets over the broken heart caused by Wanda Romack when she left him waiting at the alter. W. C. Hale is now a regular cowboy on a big ranch in West Texas. A very good friend, Miss Ava Nell Matthews, is teaching school in a near by town. Could that be the reason he decided on the little West Texas Ranch? I Ada Lee Hall, the star girl's basket ball play- er, just joined the WACS. Her husband, who they call Happy-Go-Lucky is keeping the home fires burn- ing. Edward King has at last grown fat on his new job--laughing. He is now with the Bill Hames show where he is featured as the 'Laughing Fat Man From Timbuctoo'. You might also be interested to know, that his wife, Rachel, from Commerce, has learned to laugh too. Mary Marriott and her husband, John Massey are now owner and operator of the Lee St. Produce House in Greenville. Each day they sing while they work, Ha chick, chick here, and a chick, chick theren. The former Wanda Len McQueen, who has been em- played for the past five years in the largest de- partment store in New York City is going abroad June first to join her husband, Nolan Vaughan, who is U. S. Ambassador to France. Margaret McQueen and B. C. Spinks were united in marriage at the First Baptist Church in San Diego, California last Sunday, after a short honey- moon to Old Mexico and the various other points of interest they will be at home to their friends at the corner of Hollywood and Grand, San Diego, Calif- ornia, where B. C. is employed in the National Fruit Exchange Building. 4' '
