Oh, Happy Days! College days seem to be composed of work, work, and more work. Companionship In these times it is difficult to have any close relation- ships with the people one works with and lives with daily. One ' s friendships tend to be on the impersonal side and it is easy for them to end without the benefit of a parting word or farewell. However, in the midst of times of callousness, Cumberland College seems to have a revolutionary effect on the young adults who attend. Where in other schools and universities there is on air of alienation and impersonality, the reverse is true at CC. Many close friendships are formed in an atmosphere of concern and respect for the individuals involved. There is a tendency for everyone to know everyone else and, as strange as it seems, to like every- one else! thirteen
