It has given me a sense of responsibility and a sense of satisfaction in knowing that my staff and I have done the best we can to make a memorable book for you. The time and effort of everyone who has assisted me this year will be well rewarded if these pages recall pleasant and last- ing memories. Completing the work of the yearbook and selecting an editor for the Phoenix 1 1 will seem like leaving a part of me behind, because it has been so much a part of my life this past year. I would like to thank everyone, most of all my staff, who in any way helped with the preparation of this yearbook. A special thanks is extended to Mrs. McDonald, who has spent much of her time helping me, to Wendell Deyton, who designed our open- ing section, to Mr. Dick Richardson, our yearbook representative, to Mr. Lillard Barrett, who made some excellent pictures in our club and honors sections, and to the Businesses of Lebanon and the surrounding areas, our friends who have helped us finance this book. 6Lrt Qdtcu ljllL4 (X c jiA 175 t ■ k V4.
