It will serve as a record book of memories at times in our future lives when we wish to reminisce over friends, fun and forgotten fancies. And it will bring back in part, the happiness and tears of four wonderful years spent here. DEINCATIQN To our classmates who are serving in the armed forces on all the battlefronts of the worldg to the soldiers, sailors, marines and air men who protect the land, sea, and air: we dedicate this book as a token of our admiration. It is dedicated in recognition of their gallantry, bravery, and patriotism with which they are helping to win this struggle against the forces which are attempting to destroy' our method of living.

Whether those shoulders will be broad enough to take up such o task is e question which only time can answer. But if the spirit ond determination with which they are fighting this wer is ony indication of what they will do with their Jobs after the wor, then you can place your trust in then without the slightest hes- itllt 10110 We who graduate from high school this spring are u part of that youth. Many of the boys of our class have left to serve with the armed services. Those who are still here will in all probability be going soon to re- ceive training. Those of us who are left will ploy e port, even though it be smell, in the shaping of the future. Whether we be greet or smell shell nuke no differ- ence in the end so long os what we do is done well und with belief in the rightness of our task. Our .school shell huve played on important role in shaping our cher- ecters und attitudes. Our families, too, ore e factor which must not be overlooked. Whatever it is that does the most for us does not reslly matter, it is rather the fast that working together, they produce the best Kind of people to be found anywhere on earth, the American people. Pest, present and future, they have been end will be outstanding. Not because they did rosh acts of des- truction, but becouse they huve been ideolists who hed the courage to push their idees eheed to reality. De- spite ell the preochings ond scoldings about juvenile delinquency, we who ore the youth of today and the American notion's governor's of tonorrow's world believe now end shell continue to believe that we have within us all the qualities which have destinguished nmericans in the pest. We are fighting more intensely today so that tomorrow we may be e living proof of it because tomorrow will belong to us.
