Better Luck Next Time This year’s JV football team did not present themselves as conceited players who knew they’d win but did get on the field and with the pride i of being a Duke we’ve failed to beat all the teams in the area but we do hope we learned from our various mistakes. By learning we will be able to become some of the best players on the Dukes Varsity football team and keep the proud name, ‘‘Dukes”, known and respected. 12

You Asked for it, You got it ... Spirit! A lot is to be said for the Varsity Cheerleaders, who have really let their voices be heard above the crowds. Ever-faithful to our Dukes, the CHS Cheerleaders have always been there to encourage and enhance the spirit of the student body and, of course, the players. Spirit is what it’s all about, and they've given their all to see that we've got it.
