Dedication MISS BESSIE LOU PARKER Nowhere could we find a person more deserving of this dedication which we are making without her knowledge or con- sent. Her untiring efforts to assist, not only in the production of our yearbook but in every activity of the school, have been constant. Her high ideals have inspired each of us to nobler work. Foreword The murmuring of many voices, the up- turning of many faces, the pressing on of many footsteps... illustrates life at Cumberland High School. The voices of teachers and stu- dents are heard in the classrooms, in the halls, and on the athletic field. Both new and fami- liar faces turn to the faculty for inspiration and to one another for friendship. The footsteps of students and teachers alike are seen in the many accomplishments of our school. We hope that this yearbook will enable you always to hear these voices, to see the upturned faces, and to retrace the footsteps. Administration During our high school days we have had many problems as well as many good times, but down the path where our feet have trod we have had much wise counsel. All through the years there have been those who have faithfully stood by us, ready and willing to help us with all our needs and to guide our footsteps in the right direction. Whatever has been achieved, we know that we owe much of the credit to our principal and teachers.
