Beta Club The Beta Club is a non- secret, achievement organ- ization for students of sen- ior high schools. Its purpose is to promote honesty, friend- ship, and leadership. This year the club, to- gether with neighboring clubs, sponsored the Heart-of-Vir- ginia Federation, and took part in the state talent contest in which it won third place. Library Club The Library Club is composed of a volunteer group of pupils who have common interests center- ing around the activities of the library and the books found on its shelves. The purposes of the club are to stimulate reading interests and to become familiar with li- brary procedure. This year the club has put special emphasis on the beautification of the library and has set up an. up-to-date vertical file. Tommy Rodgers, Gail Jones, and Nancy Lang do research work in the library. SEATED: Gwen Foster, S. C. A.
