The leam caplains were Angeline Cilaldi, Belly Duncan, Belly Sirianni, Barbara Hines, Lois Colone, Darlyne Frye, Con- nie Carlson, and Charlolle Kilbourn. The leams chose names which were:Rambling Wreclcs, Hol Rods, 300's. Fairies. Five Flashes, Corky's Crew. One O'cloclc Kids, and lhe Pin Dodgers. Laler when lhe leams were :com- bined lhese names were chosen: Hol Rods. Gopher Girls, 300 Flashes, and Chuck's Slrikers. A picnic in lhe lall and one planned lor lhe spring have been on lhe enlerlainmenl agenda. Lale in March baslcelball was slarled in which lhe GAA and olher high school girls look parl. The following week fhey defeafed Hayward 27-0 af l-layward. The Beavers used every man on fhe feam and fhe maiorify of fhe backfield scored. The nexf game found fhe Beavers upsef by Barron by fhe score of I3-O. The following week was Homecoming and fhe Beavers losf fo Bloomer 28-l2. The nexf week, showing a lof of fire and deferminafion. fhe Beavers romped all over fhe Spooner Railroaders by fhe score of 27-7. Gene Gunderson scored all four of fhe fouchdowns. J.
