Really Begins. After B. R. C, the ten minutes before the beginning of study and help period were spent either in Beason Hall or in the club room. Some few went directly to their rooms to get oriented for the day ahead. Study and help period meant different things to different people-to some it was a time to get help from their teachers- to others it meant a chemistry or physics class-to most people it was a period to do what they could not, or would not, do the night before. ln the class periods that followed, a great many teachers were a little disillusioned when they asked to see what their students had accomplished in the forty-five minutes supposedly devoted to each subject. What did they expect, when each assignment would normally fill up an entire evening study period? At any rate, the third and fourth periods were undoubtedly the worst ones from the instructor's point of view- cadets were hungry and restless before lunch and dull and sleepy after it. Yet meals got tlfe same treatment as reveille-a lot of complaint with little basis for it.
