The senior find the senior courtyard peaceful and also a good place to study or do homework for the next class. 2. Mrs. Sims’ French 2 class show their spirit for grub day. 3. During second lunch shift Billy Deane, Nancy Hutcherson, and Kathy Cot- trill sell tickets for the homecoming dance. They were also dressed up for toga day. 4. Donny Brown, Fred Santinga, and Chuck Bussenger dressed up to portray their fa¬ vorite rock stars. 5. Look at those pants!! Tommy Houston really has the spirit for Rock-n-Roll, Punk day. aSUKBS

Honors Choir is an auditioned choir made up of the top 100 seniors in the state. he senior ' rtwW ' Tor the week in iors won for the most spirit links grub d. i y ' is all about dressing up but the J Toga’s, mini’s, pumps, mus¬ cle shirts, colored hair, odd clothes, formals and Blue Gold dominated our halls dur¬ ing the week of October 3 through 7. Finishing up the week, the sophomore, junior, and senior classes attended Friday ' s pep rally to encourage and create enthusiasm for the Devils in the Homecoming game. The Louisa Lions met at Cul¬ peper’s field to take on the Blue Devils. Although Louisa scored first, Culpeper pulled out to win the game 26 to 20. At halftime, the Homecom¬ ing Parade circled the field with floats and participants from the girls basketball, girls field hockey, French and Latin clubs, and D.E. The French club won first place, Latin second, and the girls basketball and field hockey teams tied for third. Culpeper’s victory added to the excitement of the evening. After the game, many people went to the Homecoming Dance. “Excellent,” that’s how Mr. Jeff Diamond described it. Perfect Strangers, a profes¬ sional dance band from Cul¬ peper, played a variety of mu¬ sic ranging from rock to coun¬ try.
