Overcrowded classes was a problem throughout the entire school, but especially affected the language department. Teachers were forced to have two and three levels of language in one period, which was not only a disadvantage to the teachers but also to the students who were not receiving the individual attention they needed. ENGLISH CLASSES WERE JAM-PACKED with one hundred additional students and no new increase in the number of faculty members in the department.
