SENIOR CLASS POEM Hark, my children, lend an ear, An exciting story you shall hear. A wonderful feeling, Seniors at last, Through school halls another year we’ve passed. Together we’ve had fun for eleven years, Through happiness and the shedding of tears; Now, from each other we must part, Keeping sacred memories in each heart. Working and struggling with English and math Gaining a little knowledge along life’s path. Football, dances were fun — great sport, Now the years seem very short. Dear C. H. S., now we must part With love for you in every heart, Through your portals as Seniors we pass One more time — this is our last. —Lorraine Frye Nine
