S. C. A. COUNCIL The Student Cooperative Association is the newest and largest organization in the high school. Its membership includes every boy and girl in the school. Its council is composed of the president of each organization in the school and a representative from each home room. The main purposes of the S. C. A. are to promote citizenship, cooperation, health, recreation, and self-improvement. It acts as a clearing house for the various organizations. Since its establishment in the fall of this year, it has sponsored the Red Cross and Tuberculosis Campaigns, a campaign to purchase a radio for the school, the Defense Bond and Stamp drive, and an organized effort to save paper, stamps and metal tubes for defense. It has, also, given many and varied assembly programs for the student body.
