SF Ore word There are nine months to a school year. Since the annual is based on what is done in one school year, there are nine sections to it, sym- bolizing the months, So Many Things Can Happen From Septernber Till the Month of May. Freshmen enter high school green and scared, They leave the ninth grade with much more confidence and a determination to make it hard for next year’s freshmen, The sophomores are not upperclassmen, but during this year they learn how to belikethem, Juniors sell magazines to make money for the all important Junior-Senior, They are measured for their class rings, and they eagerly look forward to the day of their arrival. The social highlight in the spring is the Junior-Senior, This year is the most important of all for all the seniors. The senior play, the senior trip, the banquet and prom, and - most important of all - graduation. This is a time of happiness upon the successful comipletion of twelve years of study. It is a time of sadness at leaving well-loved friends and familiar places, In nine months we can learn many things other than school subjects. We can learn the joy of achievement, the happiness of winning, the pa- tience of attempting, and the sadness of death. Each of these experiences will leave its mark on us forever. - - - So Many Things Can Happen From September Till the Month of May.
