In this school, which is nestled in a velley among the high and majestic mountains of Western North Carolina. the Seniors of 1955 went through trial and tribulations, joys and pleasures of ‘ school days. ’ We Seniors find it hard to break away and leave indefinitely our ‘‘big family’’ of friends and téachers to make our way in the world alone. We realize the seriousness of what we are about to do as each of us go out to strive toward our individual goal which was inspired largely by the associations and things in our school life. To repay somewhat for the help and encouragment that we have received, we hope that our accomplishments will bring prestige and honor to our school.
