PAST PRESIDENTS GF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION In the fall of 1928 all high school students moved into their new build- ing , which was designated C ue fo Sen- ior High School. The nam e s of the m em be r s composing the Board of Education at that time were insc ribed on the Memorial Plague now ap- pearing in the north entrancefto this building . As the High S c h 0 ol was completed and dedicated during 1928, we have used this date as the beginning year to pay tribute to past presidents and Dr. I. C . Dobbs Elected to Board in 1919. He became president in 1927 and served inthis office until he retired in 1941. Mr. W. L. Ferguson Elected to School Board in 1935. He became president of the Board in 1941 in which office he served untilhis death in 1944. Boards of Education. However,it is also the wish of the 1952 GOBBLER to honor the memory of all who have served in any capacity as trustees or officers. We especially desire to offer tribute to those shown below,who, as pres- idents and board members for many years unselfishly and faithfully gave their time and efforts in furthering the progress andwelfareof the C u e r o Independent School District. Mr. Paul H. Breeden Elected toBoard in 1921. He held office as secre- tary from that time un- til 1944 when he became president of th e Board. He resigned in 1948. Mr. Bill Young Elected to Board in 1947 . He became President in 1948 in which office he serveduntil 1950. He is s ti 1 1 an active member of the present Board of Educ ation .
