Homecoming Becoming Homecoming Queen was quite an experience. Standing outside the fieldhouse at the assembly with the other court members, we all felt a little nervous about walking up in front of the whole school. No one was entirely sure what we had to do, so, we just stood back, let things happen, and smiled. Then they started to call up the court, couple by couple. Tensions started mounting and then only Chris Siodlarz, Curt Link, Amy Kopp and I were left. You could just imagine what we felt like at this time. Amy kissed me and we wished each other the best of luck. As they called up Amy and Curt, Chris and I looked at each other in amazement. All Chris kept saying was, Oh my God” while I couldn't stop saying, I'm going to die.” 1. Best field in the conference ready for another game. 2. Queen Jenni Bugni striking a SEXY pose. 3. of work. Above and beyond the call of duty. Along with a new routine, the band also played 4 selections for their perfor- mance. These selections consisted of an opener, a percussion feature, a full band feature and a closing. All the hard work and efforts put forth by the band members and its many helpers paid off on the day of competi- tion. Cudahy High won the 2nd division award and colorguard took 2nd place out of the 10 bands in our division. This was a great accomplishment for Cudahy considering it was the first time in this competition. 1. Color guard displayed their winning style. 2. The performance was even more difficult as members didn't get to always play with their own instrument sections. 3. Marching backwards was one of the special movements. 5

1985 In a way it was a scary experience, but I made it through with a lot of great memories like having everyone con- gratulate me, riding around in a conver- tible all by myself and waving at people, sitting with the other court members at the football game, lighting the “C”, walking down the aisle with Chris at the dance, dancing with the court members until Curt and Jeff yelled switch, and feeling on top of the world. These memories will remain with me throughout my life. I’ve met a lot of new and interesting people, shared many ex- periences and will always be proud to be the Homecoming Queen of 1985.
