Arrow again this year was an adventure. Most of our staff was different so it took time for us to all start working together. I guess you could call us a family. Our theme this year was Its how you play the game. We all had a lot of fun working with this, hut we also had to do a lot of work to develop it. In Arrow you learn many things, such as formating, taking, and cropping pic- tures. and learning how to put those pictures on a jxige in such a way that they tell a story. Arrow can be a lot of fun. hut it also is a lot of work. When deadlines are around the corner, there can be a lot of pressure on you to get things done. Y ou have to make sure you have all the pictures you need, all the copy done, and the people identified so you can write captions. When all the needed material is done, we have some time for enjoyment. Every year we go to WhiteWater for a yearbook conference. On that day we do such things as go bowling, and go out for a pizza. This year we assigned certain people to be section editors. These editors are: David Zabludowski Gloria Tarantino Wendy Dobrzynski Kerri Westhauser Carla Pritzlaff Charles Hitt Feature Editor Senior Editor Art Editor” Sports Editor” Super Typist Editor and Chief” Peagy Priebe Judy Buchholz Shari Zahn and Sally Czarnecki Howard Rigden Randy Simpson and Jay Linski Erin Owen Faculty Editor Advertising Editor “Senior Picture Editors Photo Editor Photographers Staff Our hopes for the 1985 yearbook are to keep the cost of the Iwjok down as much as possible. To do this we have such fund raisers as: Stationery, pizza sales, collecting ads. and a dance, (a total of 4000 dollars! We hope this year's Arrow represents 1985 CSHS to you. i CLrnOc.t) ■Arrou kr -fl cvCnotKjib 20

We’re Off to a Flying Start Probably the most exciting week of October was Spirit Week. CHS experienced the best turn out in par- ticipation ever. Way to to go! It just goes to show you that CHS really has Packer Pride. The Homecoming dance was held on October 13. We hope that all the couples had a super time! On October 11, the class of 1987 had their assembly for the annual candle sale. The sophomores sold the candles from October 11 through November 2. October 2 was Colombus Day. October 7-13 was fire prevention week. October 9 was Leif Erikson Day. (1) Chris Czerwinski, an Unknown, and Kurt Igowski taking bits and pieces. (2) Amy Spahr saw the camera lurking in the hallway. (3) john Heinzelman being supervised by Jon Pritzl. (4) “Howard, sit on your camera!” Janet Grimm.
