■n Time rise ... Time fall ... Time leaves you nothing, Nothing at all ... but memories.:H 1970 to 1974: With the close of this school year comes the end of the first aspect of life for the mem- bers of the class of 1974. Through the strains of The Halls of Ivy we will be called to remember our days at CSHS; the days of learning who we are and who we want to be. We began as all others have and continued in much the same manner. The past four years together took their toll on our initial exhuberance, our naivete and our inno- cence. Our once hurried anticipation in the halls has slowed down to the settled walk of people in no greatfhurry to be anywhere. It is no longer important what the rest of the school may think of us—it is how we think of ourselves as we prepare to break our ties with the world we’ve outgrown. What we have accomplished is not an indelible mark on the school or on other classes, but we have affected others as others have touched us—and our memories shall be as varied as our personalities, interests and abilities. Is it possible to summarize 345 lives and their experiences throughout four years? We are the best—as were the classes before us and as are those who will follow. We will believe in our greatness because it is that belief which makes each class a class—and 1974 a special year for 345 people ... It is our year. We made it ours. Tomorrow may belong toranother, but this day belongs to us. And as time will continue to rise and fall, our memories of times past will linger on ...
