Christmas Pageant Approximately 250 students participated in the combined music and speech departments Christmas program. The band and chorus together with a narrator gave each tableau scene a real feeling of Christmas. 15

American Field Service In September of 1959, it was decided by the Student Council that a foreign exchange program should be instituted at Cudahy High School. An American Field Service committee was formed within the Student Council and work was begun to obtain a foreign exchange student. The money necessary to finance this program was raised through a door to door campaign, and in July we learned that Cudahy would play host to Matti Saloranta, a student from Finland. Soon after school opened in September, Matti became an integral part of the C.H.S. student body, and he is now a very well-liked boy. D. Nauman, President C. Schulz, Faculty Advisor
