Jones on October 10, 1956. Mr. Jones vvas a member of our school system since 1929 and Superintendent of Schools since 1938. This book is dedicated to individualism--the idea which dares to differ from the others; which leads men’s minds into different fields of thought, and which has made possible the development and growth of our country. B. E. Hogue ACTING SUPERINTENDENT Seniors, you are on the threshold of a new way of life. Soon you will face a world of cold, unrelenting reality. Gone will be the more or less carefree attitude of your school days. Suddenly you are in the world of fierce competition. Most of you, I believe, have acquired enough back- ground from high school attendance to readjust yourself to this new way of life so that those goals, happi- ness and success, which you seek, will be reached. A few will continue to wander” through the maze of complexity which characterizes our modern society, never quite finding success and happiness. These unfor- tunates someday will realize the val- ue of an education. To all of you, speaking for the Cudahy High fac- ulty and myself, I wish the best in everything. Good luck! R. E. Arsenic and Old Lace is a three act comedy which deals with two spinsters who cheerfully populate their cellar with the remains of lonely, old men, who at one time were potential roomers. These delightful murderers are aided by a brother who believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt. Their antics are finally brought to o halt through the efforts of their nephew, Mortimer. Abbey Rev.
