DEDICATION With great respect and admiration we, the Annual Staff of the 1963 Ram, dedicate this, our Eleventh Issue, to a member of our faculty who has been with us for three years, during the course of which he has earned the respect and devotion of each and every one of the students here at Cuba High: Mr. Manuel Richard Munoz, our Industrial Arts Instructor. The Cuba Schools are growing; not only in size, but also in service. The most im- portant service that a school district offers to the community and to the students is educational service. A fully approved pro- gram of instruction is the highest educa- tional service that can be offered. Adequate instructional service includes an opportunity for every boy and girl to prepare for college if he or she wishes to do so. But it includes much more than this. It must include educationfor those who do not plan to take formal education beyond high school. Students and parents should carefully read the Handbook issued October 22. It describes some of our ideals. It offers a plan whereby the School Board, the Ad- ministration, and the Faculty can further expand our educational service to the boys and girls. It offers a plan whereby we can continue to grow in service. E.D. Shepherd
