At the bonfire, suspense was high as the new King and Queen, joe Thum and Deb- bie Fayhee, were announced. Friday afternoon the Sophomores, FFA, and Jr. Women's Club floats captured first prizes. The Student Senate tried something different and had the dance and game on the same night. Though fans were disappointed by defeat at the hands ofthe Vikings, the atmos- phere changed at the dance. The dinner was served buffet style in the cafeteria. It lent a touch of the islands to the evening. Music was provided by The Pure Scotch , who proved to be one of the best groups ever to perform here. The highlight of the formal dance came as jim Ellis and Debbie Ault were crowned king and queen.
