CARLE INGRAM--No class isbor- ing when Ingy is present. He adds laughter to Study Hall and confusion to class, besides cheering up f?J the teachers. He also brought a smile to band, choir, Junior and Senior Plays, and Science Club. Peering through the microscope is Carle's Plan for the future. SYLVIA KOTTWITZ- -Although Syl- via, when seen in the hall, seemed quiet and reserved, she was one of the staunchest supporters of the basketball team. This F.I-LA. mem- ber has won many friends with her sincerity and looks forward to a white cap and a long, long needle. LAURA KARST--The Seniors will re- member Laura as a band member that can't be beat. She was a worthy representative at the Alfred Humanities Seminarg Laura also kept her marks well above average. Our Florence Nightingale will be using her hospital- ity soon. CAROL KAUFFMAN -- Choir, NJ-LS., Editor of the Gargoyle, Student Council F.T.A., Drama Club, phew! 'Kootman is always racing with Father Time and at the present she's way ahead. The most sullen face will burst into hilarious laughter at Carol's pranks. Hello to Alfred and a career in industrial lab- oratory technology fwhatever that isjl DON JOHNSTON -- They laughed when Don sat at the piano with his hands tied behind his back-- they did not know he played by ear. Alibi Ike of the Class of 1961 sang in choir and could be found selling aspirin at the local drug store. CAROLYN LAUSER -- That spar- kling diamond on Caro1yn's left hand will soon be matched with a wedding band. For the present she can be found stacking library books, warbl- ing in Choir, or applying make-up in Dramatics Club. Always in- dustrious, always fun--our best to Carolyn.

BARBARA EVANS--With smiles galore and pep to spare, Barb arrived at CCS last year. FHA,Band, and All-County Band, to mention a few, have kept her on the go-go- go. Business school is just around the corner for the miss with the ceaseless energy. JUDY FINLAN-- Jusy is a jolly jill with a joy for jobs. As an active member of Band, a prop-man for the Junior Play, and a Japanese miss in the chorus of The Mi- kado, she does her work with enthusiasm. In her little white cap, she will bring joy to the heart of many a patient. Lenny and Bob--the sweetest boys in the class' FRED GREEK--Fred is one Senior who is always high--well over six feet! His fellow members in FFA and the Business Club always looked up to him--physically and mentally. In the future he will be chief- hanger-upper of the stars in the sky every night. MARGARET INGALLS-- Peggy, who has been with us only throughout our high school years, has been a willing worker in FHA, Dramatics Club and other school activities. For her the future holds the promise of a successful secretarial career.

NANCY LEWANDOWSKI-- Nan sews and cooks and checks out books, now college is her plan. An avid fan of the opposite sex, she's sure to find her man. We'll bet that she'l1 be a successful career girl before you can say Lewandowski . MICHAEL MC LAUGHLIN Mike h a s been the little fellow with all the energy, whether bounding down the basketball court or covering second on the baseball diamond. With college as the next step, he'1l soon be hearing, When was the War of 1812, Mr. McLaughlin? Feasting at the castle !- -J unior-Senior Banquet MARIANNE MICROS-- Greek , our Junior Prom Qieen, is not only pretty but is brainy as her many scholastic accomplishments convey--N.I-LS., Citizenship Conference, Alfred Seminar, a Regents Scholarship. Her talents, employed on the Gargoyle staff and in choir, will also be used in her literary future. BEVERLY MILLIKEN-- Bev , the chief saleswoman of the class sold candy, tickets, and magazines in great abundance. F.H.A. and Business Club were the better for our gal's help. The commercial field is impatiently awaiting her industry and energy.
