For the past eleven years the Council has served as a link of understanding between the students and the ad- ministration. This year, it has aided the faculty in su- pervising fire drills. lt has effectively succeeded in establishing a student court for the purpose of enforc- ing school rules and regulations. Among its less serious proiects, the Council sponsored the annual Christmas party. This year the program took the form of Ed Sullivan's television show, Toast of the Town, with Bob Kincaid as Mr. Sullivan. The program was highlighted by the appearance of such well-known celebrities as Sophie Bly, Carmen Chisholm, Holi Swift, and Eddie O'Grady. Their final appearance of the year will come at our commencement exercises in June. Judy Shaw, a member of the school band, was selected for the All County Band held in Wellsville and three members, RonaldWaite, Kenneth German, and Judy Shawparticipated in the All State Sectionols held in Arcade.
