Cepterber 2 1942 come storm for tri was the Larae ln number, strong rloons Tim hlczos vas QGPUSMUSI HISTORY slxt SPGSD llttle Fresnles took the thlrd floor of C C Q quite by memorable date or which the class o '46 ente ed hiLh school in splrit, we soon bebar to make ou presence known around the cor SIGCCSG as our clas president 1945 A oit ulminlshed in numbe1 but feeling de lUltB1J our lofty statlon as sophlstlcateu Cophomores, we took up quickly where we had left off last June qOSl6 hullin was named ful year, Qeptefber our pres dent and served us ablv throubrout the yea Drue, it was no an event but we had reat pla s under lay for ourselves a 1 1 o s 16, 1944 uunlors at last' Coulo it be poss1ble9 Vale way' dere we come Narch ll 1945 e, the 'un o s, p e erted the ver successful HJunlor lies ard ow Broadway has no hlng on us hay 26, 1945 The lonp awe ted date flnally a rived That's right mean the ni ht of the Junlor enior Banquet And we uun'ors scored another blb hit Much talent was broubht by J Throckmorton toniski and P Zeke Psychoslskl May 24, 1945 To finish off one really wonderful week, our class presented a bay and color ful Junior Promenade at which we all had a pr and time June 24, 1945 eo came to an end, a most eventful year e V30 fun taking part in the Com rencement Exercises, but we cou1dn't nelp feeling a bit sorry though, to see the members of our sister class' leaving us September 4, 1945 Well, at lonb last, we've rade it We are Qeniors' Can you believe itq Our class roll looks queer fe were nsixty stronb as Fre hmen, and now we number fewer than thirty But what we lack in numbers we make up for lH spirit u 1 , November 15 1945 fe, e enlors, presented June Mad another smash hit December 26, 1945 Our class sponsored a Christmas Ball And a grand time was had by all January 19, 1946 ve donned aprons, started wrestling with the pots and pans, and held a Bake Sale CNo ill effects were reported, elther J February 15 1946 Our Round and Square Dance proved hibhly successful in both fun and finances March l 11 1946 Qenlor girls spent nearly all month getting their wardrobes all set for nashinbton Cho tlme left for other extra curricular activities J Aprll 21 26, 1946 The cllmax of all our hlth school fun finally arrived in the form of our lonb awaited Washington trip we took Washlngton by storm and I mean by storm for five days during our Easter vacation We all had the time of our live Of course, we had ex pected to, but lt was so much more fun, in every way, than we had anticipated that we could scarcely believe that our five days were finally gone and back to Cuba we must g Qome of our parents were a bit upset at our tired state when they saw us But it had all been worth it And we all recovered quickly From th1 point on, we turned all money mak1n5 schemes over to the Junior Class Naturally it required some little time for adjustlnb ourselves to life in Cuba after our sojourn Washington. Finally, however, we found ourselves quite well settled once more busily studying for final exams when we were not thlnkina of the great treat yet in store for You've 5uessed it' ne were eagerly awaiting the banquet which the Juniors were planning for us he knew we'd engoy every second of it There's just one thing more ahead for us the greatest of then all the Commencement When we think of that event, we experience both joy and regret Joy for that which we have accom pllshed and regret that our four happy years together will so soon be brought to a close.
