Varsity Cheerleaders Our cheerleaders, sponsored by Miss McCellan and Miss Fessler, try hard to promote school spirit. They practice often and put in long hours to help support the teams. At pep rallies they enthusiastically lead cheers while the students actively participate. New cheers are learned every year. Cheerleaders go out and sell ads for football pro- grams to raise money for the team and paint banners to boast Pirate Pride. In addition to all this, our cheerleaders find time to keep up their grades, which must be C or above. We can be proud of our cheerleaders when they represent us at away games. They are school pride across the miles and express friendship toward oppos- ing cheerleaders.
