Library Logic The library has become a very important part of the school. Its size has been increased greatly this year, and there are many new books on the shelves. Since the whole atmosphere of the library has changed , more people have been using it. Students come to study and to find resource information more than they ever have before. Seniors have admittance to the library without a pass before school and during lunch. Underclass- men are required to have passes. Mrs. Mary Cannon, our librarian. It's been a long day. Homework ! Counseling isn't an easy job, but it's very reward- ing. Counseling requires patience, the ability to solve problems, a knack for working with people, plus a great deal of devotion. The situations a coun- selor must handle are many and varied. Besides han- dling academic problems, Coach Dabney and Mrs. White also give aid to students who have personal or social problems. Through the guidance office, students can obtain information about colleges and universities in any state. Also, tests such as the P.S.A.T. and A.C.T. are set up by the guidance office. Mrs. Damron, the guidance office secretary, takes care of student transcripts, handling both the records of incoming and withdrawing students. All the people in guid- ance make up a special team without whose help we could not function. 75. 5 3 . sw sil its Decpinthought . . . Coach Archie Dabney, Louise White Gerri Damron

Teachers! Teaching is not the easiest occupation around and our teachers do their jobs very efficiently. They are exceptional people, who have chosen to spend their life sharing the knowledge they have with others. Each day combines dedication with considerable amounts of energy, patience, and understanding . Teachers, the foundation of a school, cooperate with Mr. Walker and administration to keep our school running smoothly. When the day ends, our teachers can look back knowing they have done a competent job and contributed a lot to our school. '-wi.,
