ffice In the front office, everyday is a busy one with people running in and out constantly. Dorothy Williams, our school secretary and bookkeeper, and Phyllis Beall, who keeps the attendance records, maintain order in the office and are always ready to help. Sue Landers, the teachers' aide, types and runs off mimeographed material. Without her, the teachers would have a lot more paper work to do. Mrs. Jackson helps in both the guidance and front office. Robert Smith, our occupational specialist, helps students make career choices. He also helps students find jobs. Robert Matthews keeps track of those students with excessive absences for schools in the west half of Citrus County. The front office is one of the most important parts of our everchanging school. l sr MEJKLUNCH' ,.-f , ' Vs if ZS r. Craig Marlett - Assistant Principal if , Taking a rest. D iscussion . Assistant Principal The Big MH Of all the difficult jobs to be had, being assist- ant principal of a school is among the hardest. Mr. Marlett though, has made it look easy. He handles all problems that arise with an efficiency and faimess that has come to be admired by the students and faculty. His presence in the halls is a reminder to be on good behavior, yet also the sight of a friend and advisor. With someone so completely involved in a school's welfare, one hopes Mr. Marlett finds it as enjoyable and easy as he makes it seem. I'm innocent! My x ma i,,p'? 43

Counseling isn't an easy job, but it's very reward- ing. Counseling requires patience, the ability to solve problems, a knack for working with people, plus a great deal of devotion. The situations a coun- selor must handle are many and varied. Besides han- dling academic problems, Coach Dabney and Mrs. White also give aid to students who have personal or social problems. Through the guidance office, students can obtain information about colleges and universities in any state. Also, tests such as the P.S.A.T. and A.C.T. are set up by the guidance office. Mrs. Damron, the guidance office secretary, takes care of student transcripts, handling both the records of incoming and withdrawing students. All the people in guid- ance make up a special team without whose help we could not function. 75. 5 3 . sw sil its Decpinthought . . . Coach Archie Dabney, Louise White Gerri Damron
