HOMECOMING 1969 The week that was. . It was something new. We came to school in shorts and the class of 1970 finally won somethingeDeck the Halls . It was something silly. Jeff Quoss had the craziest legs and Duane Mariage tSugar Bean was the cutest baby . . . It was something exciting. We cheered in the gym, we danced in the streets, we burned a Wildcat and the rain didntt dampen our spirit . . . It was something happy. The weather cleared, the parade started, the juniorst ttWhip the Cats Down to Size won first prize and Sue OtGrady was crowned our Queen . . It was something sad. We fought hard but we lost our game . . It was something special. The fieldhouse was transformed by the seniors into a ttWonderful World of Color . .
