He has given the use of the auditorium and the spacious park, both of which belong to him. Seated at one side, watching with interest, I see Iola Buffington, dignified and haughty. I ask about her and am told that she isthe head mistress of a very fashionable girls school in Woden and is happily married. Two people, entering, receive a warm reception from the committee at the door. They are Dr. Foster, a famous surgeon in a large hosoital, and, attractive as ever, Colleen Wilson, superintendent of nurses in the same hospital. If their are any accidents tonight we feel sure the suffers will be properly attended to with Richard and Colleen on the job. Standing in the door, looking for old friends, I find Gary Wilson, editor of the largest daily paper in the state, and very active politically. He has not changed one bit since his high school days except that he has grown a trifle stouter and looks more cheerful than ever. A woman is sketching the people as they come in and doing it very well, indeed, for I look over her shoulder to see. Of course you know who that is, Yes, it is Janice Farrell. Before the packed house appears a tall, dignified figure who makes an eloquent address of welcome. He was our famous class deoator, Tommy Rasmuson. He is now a judge of the state supreme court.
