Back Row: Robert Korsa, Roger Wilson, Lloyd Risius, George Nieman, and Richard Rogeness. Fourteen students began their Sophmore year in Crystal Lake High School on August 30, 1954. The class officers are: Janice Cline, president; Larry Anderson, vice-president; Charlene Hanson, secretary; Richard Rogeness, treasurer; Mr. Sykes, sponsor. The class was well represented in boys and girls basketball, baseball, band, mixed chorus, pep club, and cheerleading. Darrel Kingsbury, Richard Rogeness, and Larry Anderson participated in boys basketball. Judy Cottington, and Janice Cline in girls basketball. Larry Anderson, Richard Rogeness, Darrell Kingsbury, and Roger Wilson were out for baseball. Members of the class in band were Marjorie Larson, Judy Cottington, Dorothy Sorenson, Ruth Kirschbaum, Charlene Hanson, and Richard Rogeness. Marjorie Larson, Judy Cottington, Dorothy Sorenson, Ruth Kirschbaum, Charlene Hanson, Janice Cline, Larry Anderson, Larry Cline,Roger Wilson, Darrell Kingsbury, and Richard Rogeness participated in mixed chorus. Dorothy Sorenson was a cheerleader and represented the class in the pep club.
