The Class Prophecy This is station S-R-S, broadcasting from the B Los Angles. We are happy to have the Class Reuniogowgf Eggbglaig of 1955 of Crystal Lake Iowa. I am glad that all of the l V at this reunion in 1960. c ass or 55 could be present At the table to my left I see a familiar face. Josine is the private secretary of the President of the United States. I hear she is married to that guy she was going with while in high so 00 . At the table behind them is Marvin Haugland and LeRoy Barber. They caught the 5:00 P.M. special rocket ship from Mars to come to this reunion. Marvin farms 1000 acres on Mars and LeRoy owns an Atom station. Sitting at the next table is Glenys Kluver who is now a secretary to the vice-president of a large firm in New York. With her is her boy friend who is the assistant manager of the firm. They are planning a June wedding in which Mr. and Mrs. Auther Murry Jr., the fomer Marvella Sorenson, will stand up with them. Mr. h Mrs. Murry are also sitting at that table. They are both teaching dancing and have many studios all over the earth and are planning to start one on Mars in the near future. At table two is Merwyn Matson and Jerry Johnson. Two eligable bachelars. Jerry is a professional basketball player and Merwyn is a composer and director of the New York Symphony Orchestra. I see that Jerry has Miss. Monroe sitting with him. At the next table is seated Janice Hobbs, or maybe we should say the former Miss. Hobbs. She is now teaching kindergarten in Austin, Texas. I wonder if she has picked up the southern talk. Sitting with Janice and her husband is Marv1n Leerar. I hear that he is the Secretary of the Treasury. I always knew he would go far. Coming into the room now is Russell Helm, a coach at Iowa University. Larry Michaelson, who operates a horse ranch near HOllywood, and Gerald Ruby, a well known patrolman. I see that they have lady friends with them. I would like to again dcast. Well this brings to an end the broa '55 for attending this express my gratitude to all the Seniors 0f reunion. Junior Class Front Row: Sharon Larson, Colleen Wilson, Iola Buffington, Sandra Slattenow, Darlene Peck, Janice Farrell. Middle Row: Vernon Hansmeier, Robert Kirschbaum, Richard Foster, Gary Wilsony Tommy Rasmuson. Back Row: Russell Hauan, Howard Michaelson, William Kirschbaum, Verdell Lunning, James Hobbs, Darwin Austin. The Junior Class elected the following officers: Tommy Rasmuson, president; Sharon Larson, Vice-president; Sandra Slattenow, secretary; Gary Wilson, treasurer; Mrsm Foster, sponsor. On October 28, the Juniors presented Star Crazy , a three act comedy, directed by Mrs. Foster. The class was well represented in the extra activities of the school. Class members in boys and girls basketball, baseball, band, cheerleader, mixed chorus, and pep club. Class of '56 stands for: Justice Unity Nobility Integrety Originality Righteousness
