I, Janice Hobbs, will my brown eyes to Tommy Rasmuson. Brown eyes are the latest style. I, MerwynvMatsoqJ will my numerous girl friends to Howard Michaelson. Treat them with care, Howard. I, Marvin Leerar. will my gift of gab to Vernon Hansmeier. Don't overdo it, Vernon. I, Russell Helm, will my yappety ways to Robert Korea, Don't try to over do it. I, Larry Michaelson, will my back seat in the assembly to Darlene Peck, Take good care of it Darlene. I, Gerald Ruby, will my red hair to Lloyd Risius and my blush to David Farrell. No one person should possess both of them. I, Bill Iverson, will my devilish ways to Bruce Benson. Not that you need them. I, Glenys Kluver, will all my bruises in basketball to Charlene Hanson. Don't get to many of them. I, Jerry Johnson, will my ability to make those deep notes come out of the tuba to Larry Cline. Don't blow to hard, Pee Wee. I, Marvella Sorenson, will my good times in and out of high school to Judy Cottington. Make good use of them Judy. To Mr. Morman, We will our ability to get out of work and to find an excuse for everything. To Mr. Sykes, we will our quietnessiin the assembly and we hope the other classes follow in our footsteps. Class History On September A, 1943, Miss. Kirkpatrick opened the doors t ' . 0 Six- Ree? exciteq fErst graders. They were Vera Anderson, Sheryl us in, 081ne enson ernon Hansmeier Marvin Ha 1 nd R Helm, James Hobbs, ?anice Hobbs, Bili Iverson, ggriy jogigghT Glenys Kiuver, MaFV1n Leerar, Merwyn Matson, Orlyn Rosen Marvella Sorenson, and Gary Wilson. , For our second year of our education we stayed with Miss. Kirkpatrick. There were no loses but we gained John Buffington. Miss. Ziesmer admitted us into our third grade. We gained Darlene Bentle, Wanda Lewerke, Lanny Myers, and Yvonne Riggle. We did not loose anyone during the third year. We went into fourth grade with Miss. Madson as our teacher. Throughout the year we lost Yvonne Riggle and gained Robert Anderson, DeWayne Davis and Marvin Perkins. For our fifth grade, Miss. Rieken was our teacher. During the year we had no gains but lost Robert Anderson, DeWayne Davis, Wanda Lewerke and Marvin Perkins. Throughout our sixth year of our education we had a total of eighteen members in our class. Our teacher was Miss. Rieken. There was a loss of one pupil, Darlene Bentle and the gain of Gerald Ruby. For our seventh grade we moved upstairs. There was a loss of Vernon Hansmeier and James Hobbs. We gained LeRoy Barber, James Delger, Ronald Nielsen, and Walter Riggle. Our instructor was Miss. Morgan. For our eighth grade, Mrs. Haugland was our teacher. We gained Gloria Carraco, Rosemarie Morgan, Larry Michaelson and Roy Burress. During the year we lost Gloria Carraco, Rosemarie Morgan and Orlyn Rosen. In the fall of 1951, nineteen frightened freshmen crept through the halls of Crystal Lake High School. Our instrgctors were Mr. Christenson, Mr. Morman, Mr. Sykes and Mrs. Ricktenwald. Mr. Christenson was our class Sponser. We gained Gary Larsoh, and lost John Buffington, James Delger, Walter Riggle, MarVin Haugland and Roy Burress. During our second year of high schoolnour teachers were Miss. Berry, Mr. Sykes, Mr. Morman, and Mr. Dandt. Mr: Sykes was our class Sponser. We gained Betty Revland and Marv1n Haugland and lost Ronald Nielsen Gary Larson, and Betty Revland. ' i ' ' Mrs In our third ear in high school our instructors were . Foster, Mr. Syies, Mr. Morman, and Mr. Sandt. Mrs. Foster was the class sponser. we lost Lanny Myers. nd final ear in grand old C. L. H.
