Sth row: Mrs. jackson, Mr, Barker. Mrs. jackson and Mr. Barker, the annual sponsors, supervise the overall planning and production of The lavelin. As editors, Barbara Dee Rutledge and Bunny Smith are charged with the responsibilities of selecting the theme, writing the copy, approving layouts, and making the many large and small decisions that arise during the course of editing the annual. Fayrene Marley and Jeannine Fisher are the layout editors. Their duty is to plan and execute the way in which all pictures are to be placed in the annual. Joy Addison, as photography editor, planned the setting and size of each picture and arranged with Mr. Keswick the taking of the pictures. Lavem Meister assisted joy in this project. Carolyn Sramek and Herby Wiley are the busi- ness managers. Carolyn was in charge of the sale of annuals and arranged for the workers in the stands dur- ing football season. Herby was general supervisor of all business transacted by the concession stands. Phineas Durbon and Paul Mata are responsible for securing ads to The lavelin. The sketches and other art work are the handiwork of Gregorio Figueroa, our art editor, and Leona Farley, his assistant.
