Keith Kulzler(37) First game, first victory. The Bulldogs of CPHS were on their way. To what? The next several encounters proved disastrous, as the GRIDDERS fell victim to the remainder of their opponents, with the exception of Lake Central which resulted in a scoreless tie. Changes told the story, and at one time, the gridders slumped into a 16 quarter scoreless streak. Strong defense prevailed as the Bulldogs often held their opponents to a limited number of points, failing, how¬ ever, to capitalize on numerous errors by the opposi¬ tion. As the dust settled, the Hub team had finished in 5th Place in the Calumet Conference posting a —7 —I record and compiling a season total of 24 points. Summing up the ' 68 season, it might be said that, “ They came, saw, and were conquered”. Matt Greene (40), Dan Steuer(65), Vic Harper (33)
