STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council of Crown Point High was elected early in the 1936 year, Elizabeth Rettig being made president; Leslie Conquest, vice-president; and Marilyn Shisler, secretary. Mrs. Sea- monson, Mr. Erwin, and Mr. Jones acted as sponsors. The members of the council were active during the National Education Week in November. A committee ap¬ pointed by the council has worked with Mr. Lindley throughout the year and has produced some very fine assembly programs. By the election of the coun¬ cil, several students were guests of the Rotary Club during the winter. The second semester Student Council was organized shortly after the begin¬ ning of the second semester. This time Barbara Heide became president; Bob Place, vice-president; and Marilyn Shis¬ ler remained as secretary.
