Celebration '87 A Definite Highpoint In keeping with the Crow- ley tradition, students made Homecoming week a time of festivity and excitement. Celebration was in the hearts and minds of stu- dents and faculty. Tension built until it finally exploded. The explosion took place during Friday's pep rally. Everyone from freshmen to seniors participated in the loudest and most exciting pep rally of the year. Streamers, confetti, glitter, banners and purple shirts surrounded the gym floor for a celebration of un- equaled strength. As Alicia Cox said, This year's Homecoming was great. It was neat to look around and see people waving banners, yelling, and wearing purple- painted shirts. After the pep rally was over, many stu- dents could be seen with glitter all over themselves. lt was simply great. The af- termath carried into the weekend and helped to make for a great game and dance. Homecoming '87 was definitely a highpoint in the year. P Almost!
