Cheering With the Best The Crowley High School 1986- 1987 Cheerleading squads, Varsity and Junior Varsity, deserve more credit than they get. They are able to keep the spirit flowing in pep rallies that could be mistaken for a morgue, but by the end of the pep rallies, the cheerleaders have the Crowley spirit pushing the tip of the scale. Their busy summer schedule consisted of spend- ing a week at cheerleader camps at San Marcos in Texas for the Varsity squad and at Texas Christian Universi- ty in Fort Worth for the Junior Varsity squad. The cheerleaders help pro- mote Crowley spirit throughout the school by creating booster posters, decorating halls and lockers, appear- ing in parades and, of course, in Crowley High School pep rallies. The ranks of the cheerleading squadscon- sist for the Varsity twelve and for the Junior Varsity seven. The varsity cheerleaders consist of from left to right S. Bruton, D. Anderson, C. Haynie, S. Kuykendall, T. Savelle, A. Tynes, D. Mills, N. Hudson, K. Yelverton, K. Stephens, T. Smith, J. Skiles, showing that camera shyness does not exist in cheerleading life. The J.V. cheerleaders from left to right are Heidi Seabolt, Christi Daniel, Pamela Reynolds, Kisty Davidson, Vicki Dobson, Kara Hallan, and Tamara Rudel. 26 Organizations 2 5 f Who's on top!
